Wiicamp Check-in

The problem

Staff arriving at different times across several events running at once, and attendance tracked on paper. Counting heads at a door does not scale past one door.

What I did

Built the check-in dashboard into the company site with Next.js. Staff check themselves in and out, and whoever is running an event watches the count rise rather than collecting signatures.

It had to work properly on a phone, because that is what someone standing at a door is holding. The desk view and the door view are the same screen at different widths, not two screens to keep in sync.

Result

Several people checking in to several events at the same time, without a clipboard.
