The problem
A basket that spans multiple shops breaks the assumptions of a normal checkout. One order becomes several, each with its own shipping and its own seller, and the customer still expects to pay once and see one confirmation.
What I did
I built the multi-item and multi-shop checkout on top of a third-party payment provider, along with order details, order cancellation, profile editing and the review system. Product pages got SEO treatment so shared links surface properly in search and in chat previews, which is where most traffic to a Vietnamese marketplace actually comes from.
Result
A checkout that handles the awkward cases (partial cancellation, mixed shipping) without the customer needing to understand that their order was split behind the scenes.
